The Salthouse was situated at 45-53 High Street. This pub used to be called The Old Bank; it was taken over by the Faucet Inn around 2005, closed for refurbishment and then reopened later that year as the Salthouse. As The Salthouse, this pub had a number of licensing issues related to crime and disorder. It closed down in 2007 and is now used as a restaurant.
