1960s |
The Coach and Horses was the
favourite pub of Farnham School of Art in the 60s, managed by Vicky who
did not approve of scruffy clothes and long-haired Herberts. Nights in
White Satin (Moody Blues) enchanted us all from the juke box. Saturday
nights were, "Is there a party?" -- boozy twenty-year-olds cramming into
a VW, ending up in Frensham, smoking that "maharaja" revolutionising and
blathering till dawn. |
