The Ram Inn was situated at 14 High Street. This pub was demolished in 1913 to make way for road widening.

The last proprietor of the Ram Inn was Mary Marriott Brown (nee Potter). She lived at the property with of her unmarried daughter Amy and son Horace. Mary died in 1918 age 72. The Ram Inn was demolished on 1913 to make way for a new left lane into North Street, leading from the High Street. A plaque on the wall of the nearby Three Pigeons pub gives a little more history of the site.
