The Duke Of Normandy was situated on Guildford Road. This pub closed in 2012.
This pub had the best pub quiz ever, Pot of Gold and great fun. Mostly locals, some of us became good pals. Sadly, Robin and Val retired and the pub closed. It is now demolished and the site is being developed for housing – do we British need any more housing, at the expense of our pubs ??? NO, NO, and thrice NO !!!
