The Old School House was situated on Stane Street. This pub operated from 1965 to 2015 and has now been converted into a fish restaurant.

The Old school house was a fish restaurant and pub until 2015. It then closed in September 2015 completely. In approx 2017 it was converted into 3 houses. It is currently 3 houses. I personally worked here as a waiter from the age of 16-19 part-time and have very fond memories of the lovely Scottish owners Mr & Mrs Bryce and their legends Burn’s night celebrations. This was quite a unique fish restaurant being in the countryside and unfortunately went out of business, I believe due to another business venture going wrong. Very sad to see it go.
