The Yew Tree was situated on Reigate Hill. This pub was rebuilt in 1938 and closed c2019.
I was walking in medieval costume to Canterbury from Winchester in June 1982, starting the walk with 2 companions, but they both dropped out on the way! I drank at the yew Tree at Red Hill, Reigate. On the six o clock news on the radio, I heard that the Falklands war was over.
