The Beehive, was a Watneys pub on Lower Richmond Road, at the corner of Markesbury Avenue, Richmond. There were entrances to the Public and Saloon bars, and the off-licence on Lower Richmond Road, and to the rear, an entrance to the Saloon from the car park, which was entered from Markesbury Avenue. At the back of the building was a large room, with it's own bar, which could be rented for functions, Richmond 18+ group used to meet in the room Tuesday evenings. I was a member of the pubs darts team, playing in local leagues.
