I used to love the Dysart Arms on the Petersham Road. I used to get the 65 bus from Ealing Broadway to Surbiton every day for work as I worked at Bell Music on the Ewell Road. When the Petersham Hole opened up (C1979) and the Petersham Road was closed, you had to get off the bus, walk round the sink hole and get on a waiting bus the other side. On the way home, I used to pop into the Dysart for a couple of pints (sometimes a lot more) before catching the onward bus to Ealing.
