The Jolly Farmer was situated on
Guildford Road. This pub closed in 2018 and is now used as a Chinese
restaurant, however the original Ushers brewery plaque remains. |

The Chinese restaurant has now closed with the
premises used as an upholstery business. |

Met my wife here on the football
table. Also worked in the bar for a while at weekends. 35/6 old money
per session. At the time my full time job as a junior surveyor paid £7 a
week. 4 sessons in the pub at the week end paid £7.50 cash lol |
