In our late teenage years we spent many
happy evenings in the Grotto. The ceiling in the Public Bar was only just
high enough for us to stand up, and by the end of the evening it 'dripped'
drops of nicotine ! It was run by Fred and Gladys, both elderly and
wonderful hosts. Ah, the good old days ! |
