The Queens Head was situated
at 1 Bridge Road.
This pub was present by 1855 and
closed in May
2010. It is now undergoing conversion to a French-style restaurant.
Publican in 1942 was James Cook. |
|
It
did briefly shut for a
major renovation in 2010 and part was changed to restaurant use, but it has
remained as a pub ever since (with some good beers!) so is far from ‘Lost’. |
