John Willsher	1958/1968	At last bell publican would dress in his night clothes & bobbled night hat and say: "lift, shift or double your bets". is this an old sea going phrase? does anyone know the origin of this phrase please? Mild & bitter was 1/11d per pint.
Yale Levy	1986/1987	I was a regular customer during these years. Made great friends with the pub owners, Bob, Dee and Jim Belding. Would love to reconnect with them if anyone knows their contact info.
