Listed building details:
Terraced house, possibly originally a pub, or altered to a pub. Mid-C19, the pub details late C19. Stucco, roof of C20 tiles. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, one window to Gloucester Road, one to Over Street. Ground floor has flat-arched double entrance in Over Street under bracketed canopy, the canopy decorated with ogee mouldings, and dentil cornice; flat-arched entrance to chamfered corner, the reveals fluted and the corner bracketed out; flat-arched windows either side of the entrance with reeded sills, fluted brackets and continuation of dentil cornice; the upper floors ornately decorated with panels of rough render bounded by smooth stucco; pilasters to angles; storey-band carrying egg-and-dart moulding to the full width in Gloucester Road and half the width in Over street; decorative panels in Gloucester Road containing cartouches to first floor and discs in the Japanese taste to the second floor; between them a canted bay which carries, above the eaves, a semicircular pediment with sunburst details; in Over Street are blank panels to the first floor with a flat-arched window between them under a swan's neck pediment, and, in the top right-hand corner, a panel with griffins flanking a cartouche; coved cornice; hipped roof. INTERIOR: not inspected.
