The Malvern was situated on Malvern Way. This pub opened in 1970 as The New Broom and was later renamed The Malvern. It closed in 2008 and has now been converted to residential use.

Name Dates Comments Lynda Caine 1970s My parents were the landlord and landlady of the Broom a real hub of the community in the seventies,and eighties the pub was thriving with local people not only customers but friends ,as mum often goes down memory lane with stories she recalls .
