My father, james Hindley, and mother were the publicans at this time
with their three children - me, brother and sister. i worked at the bsa.
there were outside toilets in the yard to the side of the pub
a customer had a vincent rapide under some brambles in his garden round
the corner. i bought it for £8 and restored it to as new and reluctantly
sold it for a price i couldnt resist....... £60. today £50k. |
