The Observatory was situated at 44A Barker Street. This pub had its' licence revoked on 6 May 2020 due to persistent complaints about anti social behaviour involving fights and urination. According to local media reports, it was then opened as a restaurant but is now closed and put up for sale again by way of online auction in September 2023.
