The Flapper was situated on Kingston
Row. This pub opened as The Long Boat in 1968. It became a well-known and
popular venue for live band performances. Re-named the Flapper & Firkin and
then The Flapper, an application in 2017 to demolish and use the site for
housing was unsuccessful. The pub finally closed in 2020. |
