My grandfather, Albert Jones was the
licensee in the 1930s. He lived there with his wife Clara and children
Albert, Lillian (my mother), Constance and Victor. I have inherited a cupboard which was made
from the wood of the bar when they retired to run the Drawbridge off
license in Shirley.
