The Ring of Bells was on the Solihull Road opposite the church. The earliest record we have of the Ring of Bells is from 1779 when Henry Gilbert was the licensee. The pub closed on 11th October 1938 when the licence was transferred to the Greville Arms in Solihull. The building is now a private house known as "The Old Ring of Bells".
This pub is now being converted into an antiques centre.
