building details: |
House, later public house, now
flats. C18 with C19 additions and alterations; further alterations 1992.
Painted brick; renewed tile roof with large brick cross-axial stack. 3-unit
plan.
Exterior: 2 storeys plus attic; 3-window range. Brick plat band over ground
floor; deep top dentilled brick cornice. Entrance to left of centre in
gabled porch has plank door in wide pegged frame. Flanking canted bay
windows with renewed glazing: that to left with 2/2:8/8:2/2 horned sash,
that to right with 1:3:1-light small-paned glazing; window to right end has
2-light casement (boarded). First floor has large windows with 2-light
small-paned horizontally sliding sashes; 2 renewed gabled roof dormers with
2-light small-paned casements flanking a small triangular roof dormer to
right of
stack.
