Two Pigs

The Two Pigs was situated at 38 Pickwick. This grade-II listed pub closed in December 2016 and has now been converted to a private house.

When I attended Bath Academy of Art 1969 to 1971 which was located in Corsham, the Two Pigs was then named the Spread Eagle. It became The Two Pigs in 1988.

Listed building details:
Inn, mid C18, possibly refronting earlier range, ashlar with stone tiled mansard roof, coped west gable and end-wall stacks. Tall 2-storeys and attic, 3-window range. Two hipped 9-pane dormers. Main front with coved eaves cornice and floor band, window-range not central. Three first floor 12-pane sashes, one to ground floor left, pair to ground floor right. Six-panel door between in unmoulded surround.
