Pickwick. This grade-II listed pub closed in December 2016 and has now been converted to a
private house. |

When I attended Bath Academy of Art 1969 to 1971
which was located in Corsham, the Two Pigs was then named the Spread Eagle.
It became The Two Pigs in 1988. |

building details: |
Inn, mid C18, possibly refronting earlier
range, ashlar with stone tiled mansard roof, coped west gable and end-wall
stacks. Tall 2-storeys and attic, 3-window range. Two hipped 9-pane dormers.
Main front with coved eaves cornice and floor band, window-range not
central. Three first floor 12-pane sashes, one to ground floor left, pair to
ground floor right. Six-panel door between in unmoulded surround. |
