The Wilton was situated at 7 Wilton Road. The Wilton building design was classic coaching inn dating from the 1800s.  From 2007 to 2011, it was a thriving community asset supporting two pool teams, a cribbage team, a football team and a mountaineering team.  It is sorely missed by its regulars from that time.  It finally closed in 2012 and is now in residential use.
