The Somers Arms was situated on Hereford Road and is now used in part as a Chinese takeaway.

This pub had a very active folk club in an upstairs room about 30 years ago. Morris dancing also used to take place on special occasions - sad to find out it's closed.

Used to be a great pub, with beer/folk festivals, allegedly the widest choice of Malt Whisky in the area.
