I am researching my family tree and have found Thomas Coulson my Great Grandfather was the licensee at the Freemasons Arms, Aislaby by Whitby on the 1881 census and the 1891 census. What happened and where he went after that I have no idea. The publican in 1861 was Hannah Hessleton. Also known as The Masons Arms.
