The Roebuck was situated on Northgate.
This pub was present by 1822 when Mary Kendall was the publican. The pub
closed in 1927 and the building was then used by the Midland Bank and was
later demolished. Airedale House business premises at 15-17 Northgate
currently occupies the site. |
