The Moulders Arms was situated on the
east side of Sticker Lane. This pub was present by 1822 when the publican was John
Hornby. |

Hello, I remember my uncles, Granville, Kenneth,
and Charlie Spivey, did all of the pigeon racing meetings in the Moulders
Arms in the sixties and even before that. They are very well known in the
area because the Spivey Brothers won quite a lot of the races. I attended
now and again to drive my dad home because many a beer was taken over a long
period. My dad was the youngest, Ernest was his name, but he had little
interest in the homing birds, but liked a pint. |
