The Cap & Bells was situated on Cooper Lane.  This pub was built in the 1960s on the site of a demolished manor house. It has now been demolished with a care home built on the site.

I remember the pub being built when I was a child as was born 5 mins away at home.Site was formerly a mansion house owned by the Hemingway family. My dad knew daughter Gillian, her sister Polly ,a actress once in Emmerdale, was formerly married to actor Roy Marsden..
