Red Lion
The Red Lion was situated on Croft Head Terrace.
This pub
was present by 1744 when the publican was W. Batty and
closed in 1890. It was then demolished and a Temperance Hotel built in its
place, a building that still survives and displays the date of 1902 on its
facade. |
