Miners Arms

The Miners Arms was situated on Cleveland Street.
This pub was the scene of a fight in 1919 in which a man died. William Henry Lewis, 44, was set upon by a group of men. Three of whom would be convicted of manslaughter.
All were ex soldiers and had been arguing about their, and their associated regiments military performance.
