The Seven Stars was situated at 19 Market Place. This pub was closed in 2009. Publican in 1890 was Thomas Clark.

This pub reopened in 2012 as The Priory.

A chequered history for this pub has taken another turn. The Priory (previously Seven Stars) re-opened in 2012 closed again, and became “Macy Brown’s” cocktail bar (not sure when). That has closed (not sure when), but has been revamped, and re-opened in Dec 2022 as “Harry’s Bar”, initially only for 3 nights a week – Thurs, Fri, Sat.
