Foundry Inn

The Foundry Inn was situated on
Foundry Street, off Northgate, Halifax, West Yorkshire. (there was an iron
foundry opposite in the same street.) I think it was demolished along with
the street, just after the last war, although it had closed as a pub, in the
early 1900’s. My great grandmother rented it after closure and sub let it to
family members, my mother was born there and remembers it well, she recalls
it had the only W.C. (with water) in the street. |
