The New Inn was situated at New Inn Corner, Market Weighton Road. It is now used as a TV showroom. This pub was present by 1893 when th publican was William Reader.

Adrian Fixter	1979/1980	A gang of us from Scunthorpe steelworks used to go fishing to Bridlington off Flamborough head.On the way home via Goole as the Humber bridge hadn't been built then we used to stop for a couple of pints at the New Inn....we were amazed at the innovative electronic scoring system for the dart board which none of us had seen before.
