Terry and Connie Horner (my auntie and
uncle) ran this pub in the mid to late sixties. My mother Winnie (Terry's
sister)also used to work for them. And to keep up the family workforce i as
a young boy used to clean and polish my uncle Terry's treasured Darts n
Dominoes trophy with good old Duraglit! It was a good old market pub
bustling with characters well known to many. Later they went on to run The
Marquis of Granby. |
