I was stationed in Leeds in the
early 50s, while in the army, and was very impressed with this pubs
layout, as I remember the serving was area in the centre of the pub and
the bars were situated around that serving area, very impressive for its
time I thought, I see it's now closed that's a shame, but like most
Towns and Cities in this country with pubs closing we are virtually
forced to do our drinking at home. |
