The Ladle

The Ladle was situated on Ladgate Lane. This pub is now in residential use.  As a hotel it was set in its own ample grounds well back from the road.  A number of modern residential buildings are now found in the grounds (see photo below).  These are accessed down a private drive named 'The Ladle'. Originally known as The Brackenhoe.

This pub has now been demolished.
Mark Sancto (October 2016)

The Ladle wasn't demolished. It was tastefully incorporated into the housing development.
