The Ladle was situated on Ladgate Lane.
This pub is now in residential use. As a hotel it was set in its own ample
grounds well back from the road. A number of modern residential buildings
are now found in the grounds (see photo below). These are accessed down a private drive named
'The Ladle'. Originally known as The Brackenhoe. |

This pub has now been demolished. |
