1949/1953 |
My father was licensee of this pub which was very busy and very popular.
He moved here from his first pub called The Prince of Wales in Portrack,
Stockton which he took over in 1947 following his discharge from army
service 1940 - 1946. From this public house he moved into The Exchange
Inn which was two streets away in Exchange Street |
