The Princess Alice was situated at 69 Newport Road.  First licensed 1866. Closed 1994 and re-opened as theme pub O’Dwyers 1995, renamed O’Neill’s 1996, and re-opened as Princess Alice in 2000. Sold at Auction in Summer 2015. Planning application to turn it into a training facility with Student Accommodation to be considered by Middlesbrough Council.
