The Red Rose was situated on Cumberland Road, closing in 2008. Also known as The Rose.

This pub became a family-run "Rose Funeral Directors". A previous 'adored' landlord from 1975-1985 was Mick Armstrong, who died on 22 March 2024, aged 84, and the Rose Funeral Directors were asked to arrange his funeral, so he was "laid to rest" temporarily in the old bar of The Rose.
