Rumpoles was situated in the Cleveland Shopping Centre with the entrance being on Albert Road. It closed in the mid to late 1980. I remember they wrote to the author of Rumpole of the Bailey, John Mortimer for his go ahead to use the name and he wrote a letter back which was displayed on the wall.
