For many years until the late 1970s this pub was
called Non Plus, named after a racehorse. |

I was posted to RAF Leeming in the early 1970’s and the Non Plus was one of
our favourite pubs. They had a definite French influence with the best
French onion soup and a cigarette machine stocked with Gitanes and Disc Bleu
fags!! |

This pub has now been demolished with new
housing built on the site. |
