The Old Forge Inn was situated in Parkgate.

My grandmothers family owned this pub. My great grandfather’s name was Harry Muscroft. He bred Clumber Spaniels; his dog was supreme Champion at the Crufts Dog show in 1899. The kennels were behind the pub .
