The White Swan was situated at 46-50 Oldham Road next to the Co-op buildings, near to the old police station. My Great Grandmother lived there and her second husband Daniel Holmes was the proprietor. They were married out of the pub in 1879. I am sorry I don’t currently have any photos of the pub yet.

This pub is now used as The Fox Bar and Bistro and before that it was Maxi's Chinese restaurant.
