The Toad Hall Arms was situated on the High Street. This pub was formerly known as The Plough. The pub closed in June 2017 and became a 6-bedroom home. It is said that in the 1970's a G.P. would conduct a surgery in the lounge bar on Monday mornings. Recently an application has been made, and passed, to convert the building into a home catering for five children with learning needs and neurodiverse conditions.
