The Pigeon Pie was situated on the High Street. This grade-II listed pub closed in the 1990s.
 

 
Listed building details:
The Pigeon Pie GV II Originally 2 houses; now public house. Late C18 with C19 and C20 alterations. Chalkstone, rendered and colour-washed, with pantile roof and brick stacks, one rebuilt. 2-storey, 6-bay front. C20 panelled door in flat-roofed porch at centre right. Coach arch with double gates and painted timber lintel at left end: blocked loft window above. All other windows are 4-pane sashes with painted stone sills. Painted wedge lintels to ground- floor windows. Brick dentilled eaves course to left part, and stepped eaves to right. Coped gable and shaped kneeler at right. End, left-of-centre and centre-left stacks.
