The King William IV was situated on Church Hill. This pub closed in 2001 and is now in residential use.
My maternal grandfather George Linfoot owned this pub around 1911 and my mother, Marjorie Linfoot was born there. The above photo shows George Linfoot, wife Kathleen and my mother Marjorie.  Taken at the back door of the pub which was on the inside when I visited in 1996, as an extension had been added.
