Crown Hotel

The Crown Hotel was situated on the Market Place. This pub closed in 1962 when the landlord was Ernest Hayden. It was demolished and the site became a Fine Fare supermarket the same year. Present by 1880 when the publican was Francis Cole. He died the same year with his wife, Hannah taking over.
