Fox Inn
The Fox Inn was situated in Kiln Yard,
Church Street. This pub was present by 1830 when the publican was George
Frank. It is so named due to a weave of sail ropes of different thickness 3
or more, to a single end piece. The resulting rope end came together as
looking like a large fox tail. |
