 Certificate for 312 cumulative preference shares bearing 7.5% interest in this retail chain specialising in household merchandise. Dated 30th June 1960 with the actual handwritten signatures of R W Gillham, director, together with that of the company secretary. Issued to Mrs Marguerite Emma Bentley, Newstead, 60 Dove Road, Sheffield. Black and white certificate with imprint of company seal.

There were over 600 Timothy Whites shops across the UK. In 1968, Timothy Whites was purchased by Boots, the chemist.

Certificate size is 23 cm high x 26 cm wide. It will be double mounted in a mahogany frame, with gold inlay.
