 - May 15, 1962, Volt common stock is listed on the over-the-counter

 1967:
 - Volt Instant Personnel (VIP) is established in California to 
            provide clerical and administrative temporary personnel.
 - July 1967, Volt is renamed as Volt Information Sciences, Inc.
 
 1987:
 - Volt Corporate Park, West Region headquarters is established in 
            Orange, California
 - Volt Corporate Park serves as a headquarters for several operating 
            divisions including staffing, advanced technologies services and 
            corporate departments
 
 1992:
 - Volt Services Group is established by combining the Volt Temporary 
            and Technical Services business units
 
 1994:
 - Shaw and Shaw, Inc., a staffing subsidiary and professional 
            employer organization, is established to provide employee-leasing 
            services
 
 1995:
 - Volt Services Group wins several major awards for 
            VoltSource 
            managed programs from Fortune 100 companies.
 - Volt reaches $1 billion in sales
 
 1997:
 - May 7, 1997, Volt is listed on the New York Stock Exchange(symbol: 
            VOL)
 - Volt receives marketplace recognition as a Fortune 1000 company, a 
            Fortune Most Admired Company, and is included in the S&P SmallCap 
            Index
 
 1999:
 - Volt acquires The Gatton Group in the United Kingdom. Now called 
            Volt Europe, this acquisition expanded Volt's information technology 
            staffing services capabilities in Europe and allows Volt to develop 
            international clients and meet the overseas staffing needs of 
            domestic customers
 - Volt reaches $2 billion in sales
 
 2000:
 - Volt expands its technical solutions to include consulting and 
            outsourcing programs via 
            VMC Consulting and Volt Integrated Solutions Group
 - Volt expands its e-commerce staffing solutions through 
            ProcureStaff
 - Volt celebrates 50 years in business with a reception at the New
