Certificate, dated 31st July 1950,
for 100 shares of common stock of par value $5 each in this famous US
retailer. Printed signatures of Bernard Gimbel, President and son of one
of the founding brothers, and Samuel Kass, Secretary of the
company. Vignette of woman between two globes holding continuous
stationery. Ornate orange border. The certificate is in the name of L F
Rothschild & Co., with the reverse
of the certificate showing the actual handwritten signature of L F
Rothschild. Certificate size is 20.5 cm
high x 30 cm wide (8" x 12"). It will be mounted in a mahogany frame,
with gold inlay, size 31 cm high x 39 cm wide.
